Tasting Notes
A juicy combination of red and black fruit jump out of the glass, showing plum, red and black currant, and sweet baking spices. Supple tannins are in perfect harmony with the ripe fruit and layered spicy notes of vanilla, cedar and smoked paprika.
Winemaking
This Merlot was vinified in a combination of open and closed top stainless-steel fermenters to preserve the fresh fruit flavours. After fermentation the wine was transferred to seasoned French oak barrels for a further 6 months.
