Tasting Notes

Characteristic aromas of black currant, black cherries, berry compote and a note of sweet mint. Rich and bold on the palate, with the sweeter fruit flavours of mulberry and blueberry balancing the more savoury notes of black tea and charred wood. Fine, chalky tannins and a good concentration of fruit make this a typically styled Cabernet Sauvignon.

Winemaking

This Cabernet Sauvignon was vinified in a combination of open and closed top stainless-steel fermenters to preserve the fresh fruit flavours. After fermentation the wine was transferred to seasoned French oak barrels for 6 months.
