Sydney Back Chardonnay
Aromas of orchard fruit and lime are inviting on the nose of this fresh Chardonnay. There is a flavorful mix of Meyer lemons, pears and apples on the soft palate. Leafy notes and optimal acidity add depth.
With an appealing core of apple, pear and melon fruit flavors, this light- to medium-bodied white is fresh and zesty, with hints of pink grapefruit peel and grated ginger on the finish.

The Sydney Back Kosher range celebrates the Lithuanian Jewish roots of the Back family. Made under the auspices of the Beth Din South Africa and the OU of the United States, this wine is Mevushal and Kosher for Passover. Suitable for vegans.

Winemaking Notes
The fruit is from both younger vines, that drive the fruit profile, and low yielding older vineyards that provide a very finely structured backbone. These vines have been planted in sandy clay-loam soils. Chardonnay fruit, with ripe tropical flavors, is lightly pressed for gentle extraction. Pasteurized in the juice stage of production, this wine is prepared under supervision of the Beth Din South Africa. It is Mevushal and Kosher for Passover.
